On Wednesday, 5/21, ISES Members and their guests enjoyed an early evening meeting, hosted by the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati. There were appetizers were generously provided by Upper Crust Catering and the linens were courtesy of All Occasions Event Rental.
Diana Hisey, Co-President of ISES Cincinnati, welcomed the group and introduced Vickie Ciotti, Executive Director of the Civic Garden Center, who gave the group an overview of the mission of the Civic Garden Center. There was also an exciting virtual tour of their newest project: The Green Learning Station. The rest of the meeting had the audience split into three groups that rotated amongst a hands-on potting demonstration, a brief overview/tour of the Gardens and an overview of all the ISES Cincinnati Committees where Diana was joined by other Board Members Alison Wenstrup, Olivia deRoziere, and Steven Easley.

At our last meeting, ISES Cincinnati hosted the Southeast’s premier event designer, Tara Guérard of Soirée, author of the wedding and entertaining book, "Southern Weddings: New Looks from the Old South". Members and their guests enjoyed an early evening at The Grand in Covington with cocktails and light appetizers.
Afterwards, the group moved four blocks over to The Bridal Studio, to talk further with Tara and get copies of her book signed. Here, members enjoyed a cozy, chic atmosphere, champagne and a fantastic wedding cake sampler presented by Le Sucre Bakery.
The final adjournment was then on to the Avenue Lounge for further networking and socializing.
